Fátima

Santuário de Fátima

The Sanctuary of Fátima is a place of Christian pilgrimage and Catholic devotion. Its construction started in 1919, with the construction of the Capelinha das Aparições. Currently, the sanctuary consists of the Capelinha das Aparições, the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, the Colonnade, the monument to the heart of Jesus, as well as the prayer hall.

Mosteiro da Batalha

Categorically, one of the most beautiful works of Portuguese and European architecture. Monument in memory of the Battle of Aljubarrota, whose construction started at the end of the 14th century. It is the most significant building of the Portuguese Gothic and has been part of the list of World Heritage Sites defined by UNESCO since 1983.

Nazaré

The village of Nazaré is located in the district of Leiria. Initially a fishing village, which progressively evolved into a village dedicated to tourism. It was one of the first points of international tourist interest in Portugal.

The use of seven skirts by women is intrinsically linked to the Nazarene tradition. Also, due to the media projection the giant waves of Nazaré have, the village has become the host of the biggest international surfing championships.

Óbidos

The medieval village of Óbidos is one of the most picturesque in Portugal. Located within castle walls, it is known for its preserved state. In this village you can find a well-kept castle and a maze of streets and charming white houses. The famous Ginjinha de Óbidos, which can be enjoyed in various places, is also one of the attractions of this village.
